So…

Just been work and sleep this week.  Lots of stuff going on….  I’ll try to post some other time a little bit more and stuff.  Now its time for work.

Sleep need Sleep

So this whole barking in the middle of the night, and me having to get up and let him out isn’t that bad. I prefer tha instead of having to clear out the crate he is in from all the shit and stuff. The downside is two fold though. 1 I have to wake up and stumble downstairs with him and such, so by the time I go back to bed, I’m wide awake. 2 he doesn’t want to go right back to sleep and therefore decides to bark and cry for what seems like forever before seattling down. Which is causing me to lose lots of sleep.

You know anything that bites…. literally is him. he wants to bite everything, and when i say everything I mean everything… Your nose, your hands, your shoes, your furniture, EVERYTHING.

But I guess all of that comes along with getting a puppy instead of a fully trained dog and such. I wouldn’t trade him for the world and I still love him, its just hard a times. Gotta remember there is only a couple more weeks of this before he is potty trained, and roaming the house at night looking for people trying to break into my house so he can Chew/Bite/Whatever them.

Please welcome 8 week old Shadow Clark (Black Lab) to the family.  Pictures can be found in my photos section and more to follow once i get the ones from Jess’s phone downloaded.  You can thank my Sister Melissa for the current pictures that i have uploaded.  THANKS MEL YOU ROCK!!!!.

So far it has been intersting.  He has soiled my house 15 times since we picked him up and got him home saturday evening around 9/10pm.  However we had a break through yesterday afternoon when he went in the yard .  So the grand total stands at Clarks – 6 wins (he goes in the yard) shadow 15 (when he doesn’t go in the yard).

He is a playful pup who has won his way into our hearts already.  He love his chew toys, jumping on the furniture and following everyone around anytime they go anywhere just like a shadow.

Last night I spent my night sleeping on the floor by his cage in order to keep him calm and from crying.  He apparently doesn’t like being alone.  Sat night he actually cried for 4 hours striaght until I gave up and brought him into bed with me.
