The Eye of the Storm

So I have to say that I have entered the eye of the storm when it comes to school and work and everything. I am on vacation until monday so I’m kinda liking that. However i have spent my entire vacation (Since tuesday) studying for my history exam. I took my history exam today, so I basically have tomorrow to chill with Jess and then the weekend before work. Monday I have to take my ITN Exam 2 then Tuesday is ITN Exam 3 and Wednesday is ITN Exam 4. Yes I know, I have procrastinated a little bit. Also on wednesday i have my speech for my SPD class due. I’m doing it on troubleshooting home internet and networking problems. I wrote a paper on that topic last semester for english so I figure that I have the majority of the framework done. I just gotta fill in the meat and make it a 5 minute presentation with powerpoint slides. YAY! PowerPoint.

Work is the usual work stuff. WE just recovered from a mail server outage over the thanksgiving holiday. I got pulled away from my family but that is what this field of IT is like. THey all understood and I’ll make it up to them later. Love you Guys !!!! Looks like I have to take an exam for work in order to keep my certifications up straight and the money I get for those certs continuing to come in. To be honest I’m nt 100% sure i need to recertify so I’m awaiting an email from boss boss to see what he says. Most likely I am going to have to re-certify so wish me luck. I’m going have like 5 exams in 1 week… OHHHH AHHHH FUN.

Not much else is really going on. Jess is sleeping right now although she swears she isn’t tired. Love you babe. Nick and Bethany are downstairs watching the first season of LOST and I think melissa is either at work, or sleeping in her room. I’m tending to lean toward sleeping since I think I saw her car in the driveway.

Not much planned for this weekend. Just some time to sit back and enjoy. I bought Sonic the Hedgehoge PLUS pack for PS2 last weekend. It literally every Sonic game ever created. For those of you who don’t know what sonic is…. do you remember SEGA? If not, please go google it because you have been seriously deprived of a childhood. I have to say that after about 1 hour on the thing it lost its interest to me. Bummer cause for that 1 hour it was cool. It was only $15 at sears so if you are looking for something to waste $15 on then this is the thing for you.

I guess that is all from me right now. The eye of the storm is over on monday and I just gotta ride out the rest of the storm before I can start dealing with all this house stuff. By the way… We are having a Clean up the House party on Dec 16 and 17. Lots of free beer and pizza in return for hard labor fixing up my new place. All are welcome who are willing to work. WE have to gut and replace two bathrooms, paint, overall cleanning and detoxing the place. We will also be installing a bathroom in the basement (time and money permitting) as well as eating lots of pizza and beer. So please let me know if you want to come or can make it.

Closing has been set

So closing has been set at monday. YAY. Finally gonna get the house and stuff all squared away. Its the fun part after wards of paying the mortgage and still manging to survive.

School should be over soon. I just gotta get through this next three weeks and be done with it. I am anxious about history because if I don’t get a 175/250 on the exam I will fail the class regardless of my other class work. Not to mention that the exam is not multiple choice, it is all essay. All fucking essay exam on an exam I need to pass. This is going to be tough. I don’t think I’ll have as much luck as I did last time on the mid-term. On the mid-term it seemed that the exact stuff I studied was on it. However I don’t think that will be the case this time. I’m just really worried.

Telecommunications I’m not to worried about, once i get my chapter reviews done and sent off I’m sure I’ll be fine. I’m only 3 exams behind. But I should be able to take them all at once. This is all stuff I have been doing for like 5 years now. It can’t be that hard unless they get into the nitty gritty picky bulll shit. Which hopfully they won’t

Speech is the class that has forced progression throughout the year so I’m pretty much caught up and everything. It should be interesting though. I gotta do my speech and I’m not sure what to do it on as of yet. Ideas are always welcome.
